Espiritu Santo
An island of contrast, the west coast of Espiritu Santo has white, sandy beaches, while the east coast sports cliffs and rocky terrain. Outdoor adventurers will love this jewel in the Gulf of California -- kayaking, hiking, diving and snorkeling are the most popular activities. Of course, you can always relax on the beach, taking in the Baja sun and maybe catching a glimpse of some dolphins and manta rays.
Currency
Mexico's currency is the peso (MXN). The $ sign is used to refer to pesos, so don't be shocked at the price tags. Any prices in U.S. dollars are listed as US$ or USD. Many hotels, restaurants and shops also accept major credit cards, which usually offer you a good exchange rate.
